The following reading was given recently by Jehorvah in a private chat room. You will see as the reading began, I suggested that the person receiving it, log it, and as soon as it was done, I realized why. It turned out to be a classic explanation of why we must first nourish ourselves to better contact Spirit. You will note that Jehorvah communicates in an interesting rhythm that to me feels poetic, and with pauses that seem to underscore certain points.

PRIMING THE PUMP

spirit work seems to disappear in the
brain
one of the problems
lol
You hold spirit and world in two different places
you have "the time I connected with spirit so well" and you
have now
they are all the same
the difference is that you believe what your eyes tell you more
right now
you believed what your spirit told you more before
we become enmeshed in our beliefs...in the fabric of our lives
in the realness of now
not that ‘reality’ doesn't exist ......it does
we only have to burn our finger to discover hot is indeed hot
but
our beliefs shape our reality
so when we believe we connected then and not now
so it is
Likewise, when our mind is consumed by fear and worry, or by
depression, we are unable to see anything other than that pattern in our
lives
we are consumed by our thoughts
but they ARE our thoughts
and because they belong to us, we can also change them
we change the way we believe so that we may see more clearly
ALL that is
just as your fear creates walls between you and others
so your beliefs block you from your wisdom
so in this time, when your soul longs to comfort you, to show
the path, to help you trust the outcome, you are consumed instead by the
details replaying over and over in your mind
so that much of what is required is a willingness to change

and yet it is so
for in choosing to believe that you have wisdom
you will locate it once again, residing as it always has in
your heart
your wisdom, contrary to popular belief is not in your head,
but in your heart
in your hands, in your bones
is why the return to the earth is important (Jehorvah was talking about a garden)
is energy of comfort and knowing and allows mind to turn off a
bit
a bit, we say, a bit lol
so it is with dance and music and walking outdoors in nature
and in bathing and in water
so it is that the soul is nourished by these things and the
mind not so much lol
we like this for it is the soul we are trying to awaken, you
see
and make no mistake, your knowing, your wisdom, your connection
is indeed your soul reaching out
so it is in silence, that the soul leaps forward.....to be
heard
in the beauty of sunset in a starry night when we believe we
hunger for a lover's lips
is rather the connection to SELF that leaves us hungry for more
and so
to regain this connection
is indeed simple
is to know that it was never lost
that in fact was not connection that was lost but rather
attention to the connection that was missing
do you see?
We ask that you love self and honor self so that you will pause
in the phrenetic energy of physicality and breathe in the knowing of the soul
it is to nurture the soul that allows it to spring forward
and it does require nurturing, you see
as do you

We believe we are machines without limits
able to go on and on and on and on
this is not so
when we continue for long times using only our head energy we
become frazzled
have you noticed?
and the way to stop and relax seems nearly forgotten
it is to pamper self, honor self, to prime the pump so to speak
that is required to connect
once more to the subtle voice of spirit
and so the first step
the very first step
is to pay attention to SELF

bubble baths, laughter, dancing, music, delight your soul
YOU delight your soul
do not look for another to fix you, find the things in your
world that make you go ahhhhhhhhhh
and do them ALOT!!!!!
chocolate
silk
midnight swims
writing
singing loudly in the car
whatever makes your heart happy
but YOU must do it
and on that day when you find yourself smiling for no apparent
reason, you will know that you are ready
It is to feel good in your skin that is required
it is to know that regardless of what our eyes see, our hearts
know that a greater path is being walked than that which the eyes know
it is faith
it is grace
it is love
it is knowing
and it is your birthright                                                                      Know this
But do not ask to travel to the moon in a starship without gas
First, fill the tank, then we will soar
It is not wrong that you ask this ... is that our hearts know that we are to be
other than where we are, we simply cannot find our way there
and don't realize it is because we are out of steam
for now
 

* Ed: The comment in parenthesis was an aside from me to the person who was receiving the reading. I was expecting Jehorvah's usual warm soothing words and instead was receiving a lesson on manifesting. No sooner had I commented that I didn't believe how strange this sounded than Jehorvah came back to reply, "and yet it is so." Each time I read this portion of the reading I find myself chuckling. It is clear, Jehorvah knows what needs to be said, and when. 

Also, regarding the spelling of frenetic energy, I know how WE spell it, yet Jehorvah insists it is phrenetic.  JD
