LOVE YOUR BODY!!

 

I confess. This class seems designed specifically for me as it combines the power of love and creative intention to heal the body and bring it into balance with the energy of our spirit. However I am inviting a few of my favorite clients along on this joyful ride as we reclaim our bodies and remember to love and honor all aspects of our magnificent selves - including the energetic vessel that carries us through our physical experience.

There are many reasons that we ignore our bodies. Some of us claim a busy schedule, while others want to hide in bodies that do not reveal our true nature. Some of us simply tuned out our bodies as we focused more on intellectual or spiritual pursuits, while others of us have actually declared war on our bodies. Yet regardless of the stories we tell ourselves about our bodies, they remain a physical manifestation of our internal sense of self. As within; so without.

And so when our bodies no longer reflect who we believe ourselves to be, when rather than protecting us, they make us feel trapped weak or vulnerable, it is time to make peace with our physicality. It is time to love our bodies. It is time to find our balance within the mind body spirit paradigm.

Let me be clear. This is not a diet club, this is not an exercise club. This is a class that is designed to move us into the space where we honor our bodies in the same way that we honor our spirit. We will heal our bodies and as we do we will heal our relationships with our bodies.

When Spirit dropped this little topic into my lap, I did my usual, "Who me?" Yet I must confess that as the time for the class grows near I find that I am truly excited to begin this adventure. We will be leaning into each others' knowledge as we wind our way through this course to a more energetic way of living.

The Love Your Body journey is actually two parts. The first part is a two day workshop designed to increase our awareness of our current relationship with our body. It will include visualization, meditation, some probing questions, and some body image work. It will also include massage, healing and pampering ourselves with healthy vibrant foods. At this workshop we will create and clarify our intention regarding our body.

The second part of the journey is a weekly class that supports our ongoing journey and serves as a weekly check-in to focus on our bodies and evaluate our progress. We will share our journey, our discoveries and information about how we have learned to love our bodies. We will rely on the energy and the expertise within the group, and we will also invite guest speakers to these weekly meetings.  Expect to be surprised. Expect to be delighted and expect to be challenged a bit as we rethink our current beliefs about our body.

Two day retreat: $200.00 (Rooms, meals and personal treatments such as massage are not included)

Weekly meeting: $10.00 (Yes, you may attend the meetings without attending the retreat. However, the retreat does increase the energy and intention that you bring to the process.)
